Ask An Architect

Bring Your Questions! The first Saturday of every month local architects provide free one-on-one consultations on home additions, zoning requirements, attic/basement conversions or other renovation projects. To maximize your session, please bring a photo of your home and a survey, if possible.

Louis Sullivan's Idea

Louis Henry Sullivan was one of Chicago's most famous but misunderstood architects. Chicago artist Chris Ware and cultural historian Tim Samuelson present a fabulous installation of photographs, drawings, documents, and artifacts at Chicago's Cultural Center which portray his life, writings, and architectural works in the context of his time and original creative intent.
